Organic Trout Oil

* Including sustainable certified fish oils.

Environmentally friendly

Iridescent trout oil comes from the iridescent trout of the inland rivers of Denmark, without burdening global fisheries, as it is 100% sustainable.

With zero impact on the environment and low carbon footprint, as fish are collected and processed at source. Production focuses on sustainable and green practices.

Organic fish fillets are used for food, while the rest for the production of oil, in order to minimize waste and optimal use for human nutritional and nutritional needs. Any residues are used as fertilizers on organic farms.

Full range oil

Conventional, conventional refining of fish oils includes bleaching, deodorization, pasteurization and molecular distillation. These processes alter the natural fatty acid profile of fish.

Viridian Scandinavian organic iridescent trout oil is not subject to this treatment and is therefore a pure, virgin oil with a unique full range of omega fatty acids, as found in nature.

Fresh and pure

Without the use of chemical or heat treatment, the oil, as a final product, is bottled within a few hours at the source.

The result is a pure, virgin fish oil, without oxidation, with excellent stability, as the natural structure of its fatty acids is maintained.

We get our oil from certified organic freshwater fish. This is unique, as no oil from the ocean can be certified organic due to the high levels of pollutants in the ocean's wild fish.

As our fish oil does not contain contaminants, it does not need disinfection, like other fish oils.

Health benefits of using fish oil

Intake of fish oil supplements is a strategy of utmost importance for the management and treatment of many chronic diseases and the achievement of optimal health. Fish oil is an excellent source of omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega 3 PUFA) and especially eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

After consumption, omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) are absorbed directly from the gastrointestinal tract and incorporated into cell membranes, where they participate in many biological processes, including cell membrane function, gene expression and cardiovascular expression. the anti-inflammatory process.

The beneficial effect of omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids includes a wide range of human health, such as:

- Reproductive system health

- Pregnancy

- Breastfeeding

- Development of newborns / infants

- Regulation of sugar

- Diseases of the cardiovascular system

- Joint health

- Skin health

- Mental health

- Distraction / Attention Deficit Syndrome - Hyperactivity

- Dementia.

Throughout human history, omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids have been found in abundance in meat, wild plants, eggs, fish, nuts and berries. However, the modern diet is characterized by reduced intake of omega 3 fatty acids and overconsumption of omega 6 fatty acids, thus causing a large imbalance in the ratio of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids and therefore many chronic diseases. Fish oil, as it is a concentrated source of omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, has a wide range of important uses for the body and its frequent, regular intake helps to prevent and prevent many chronic diseases.

Considering the role of adequate intake of omega 3 fatty acids in the prevention of chronic diseases and the promotion of reproductive and general human health, it is recommended the frequent intake of fish oil in the context of a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Cardiovascular health - In an analysis of 25 cardiovascular health studies, it was found that high levels of omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (and especially DHA) in tissues are directly linked to the development of coronary heart disease. In fact, according to human trials, taking fish oil supplements has a protective effect against diseases of the cardiovascular system.

Mental Health - Lack of omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids and increased omega 6 fatty acids are associated with many mental disorders. Omega 3 fatty acids are a building block of the human brain and contribute to neurological function (preservation of nerve membranes, neurotransmission, maintenance of fluidity and flexibility of membranes, formation of ion channel and cell receptors).

Pain and inflammation - Research shows that excessive intake of vegetable oils, rich in omega 6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, increases
